Butter Cream Icing

3 cups confectioner 's (powdered) sugar

2 TBSpoons  melted butter

Carnation Evaporated Milk - use until desired consistency is achieved.

If icing is too thin, add more powdered sugar.  If too thick, add more Carnation Evaporated Milk

Backstory/Memory: This is my favorite cake. My Mom would bake this cake for my birthday every year. When my husband was in the Air Force, we were stationed his last year in the state of Washington. My Mom baked this cake (minus the icing) and mailed it to me in a cake tin. It arrived safely and was so good to get a taste from home.
