ORANGE FAMILY EXPERIENCE (FX)

The Orange Family eXperience (FX) brings kids and parents together for a high-octane eXperience that rivals any family event!  This 1-hour production uses music, dance, video and a stage full of insanely funny characters that make it a blast for the entire family.  This month’s Virtue: TRUST!  Families, come dressed like you’re going to beach!  It is our summer kick off!  Outdoor activities begin @ 6 PM with jumbo slides, games, photographs & refreshments; the eXperience starts @ 6.30 sharp!  This is for all parents and kids to attend together!

KIDSVILLE’S PURPOSE

At Genesis our desire is to lead children into a dynamic relationship with Jesus.  We partner with parents to truly make Him known and give kids an accurate picture of what God is really like. The Genesis Kidsville Dream Team teaches the Bible in creative and exciting, age-appropriate ways.  Powered by the Orange Curriculum, developed by Reggie Joiner, the family and the church work together!  We believe two combined influences make a greater impact than just two influences!  Visit whatisorange.org for more info on Orange OR visit Kidsville’s Blog @ genesiskidsville.blogspot.com.

WHAT IS ORANGE? 

The Church (YELLOW/bright lights) + The Family (RED/warm hearts) = ORANGE

When you think ORANGE, you see how two combined influences make a greater impact than just two influences. If we put ORANGE into practice, church and the family at home combine efforts for the sake of impacting the next generation.

The problem isn’t that churches aren’t doing programming for families; the problem is the lack of strategic programming for families. Our strategic message for Genesis Kids, to be taught in the homes and at church, is as follows…

@ Preschool age…

3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever

@ Elementary age…
1. I need to make the wise choice
2. I can trust God no matter what
